Chenille is the perfect craft accessory and you will find it in many of our craft kits. Long, short, thick, thin, shaped, furry, tinsel, the varieties and colours are nearly endless. Here are just a few ways to create the effect you want.
Fold, glue and stick, that's how simple it is to make our Box Buddy craft characters. We recommend UHU brand glue because it sticks nice and quickly. With paper craft it's always best to fold the pieces first so they fit together easily. Apply just a little glue then hold in place. The best part is adding the wiggly eyes to bring your creation to life...purrrfect
Our new water colour activity book let's you try out your painting skills without all the mess of paint pots and mixing trays to clean up afterwards. Each page has a new design and a new set of colours, just dip your brush in water, mix it with the paint swatch and start painting. It's easy, but remember the best way to get nice colours is to keep your water clean, so change it as you go. Have fun:)
We are often asked what kind of glue do we use for our craft projects. We always say on the packaging 'a quick-drying, craft glue' but to let you into a little secret we find UHU brand is the best. It's great for most materials and holds fast forever. If you can get hold of some you'll find some tasks much easier particularly paper projects. Let us know how you get on.
When creating your foam picture, check which pieces to stick first. Always stick pieces that are shown at the back of your design, then layer it until you finish. If you get it wrong, it's okay, because you can peel off the foam and try again:)
